Applies to goods and installation services supplied by Innovative Control Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 33 602 766 727), trading as Alarmify.
This Policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Your Rights Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
You have non-excludable consumer guarantees. Products must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match descriptions; services must be provided with due care and skill. For major failures you may choose a refund or replacement for goods or cancel services; for minor issues we will repair or remedy within a reasonable time.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
2. Change of Mind
You can cancel your order up to 48 hours before installation, and we will refund your full deposit.
3. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
If you're not satisfied within 30 days of installation, you may return your Alarmify system for a refund.
Eligibility:
- Notify us within 30 days of installation; and
- Return all equipment within 10 business days of giving notice (see How to return).
Fees & inspection:
- A 12.5% handling fee covers installation labour, system setup/provisioning, initial monitoring period, and processing/inspection/admin costs.
- Additional deductions may apply if items are missing, damaged, or not resalable (see Refund deduction schedule).
- Early termination fees are waived when the 30-Day return passes inspection.
4. Early Termination & Buy-Out
- Minimum term: 12 months | Total term: 36 months (ownership transfers at end if all fees paid).
- Terminate before 12 months: Early termination fee = (12 − months active) × Monthly Service Fee. Equipment must be returned and is retained by Alarmify.
- Terminate after 12 months (up to 36 months):
- Return equipment (retained by Alarmify), or
- Buy-out option: (36 − months completed) × Monthly Service Fee (payable within 14 days of notice).
- After 36 months: No further fees under this agreement. See your Critical Information Summary for any optional ongoing service fees.
5. How to Return
- Contact us with your order details and intention to terminate/return.
- Obtain an RMA number from us before shipping.
- Return options:
- Self-remove and return to: Alarmify, 1/72 Everard Avenue, Keswick SA 5035 (in person or tracked/insured post); or
- Book an Alarmify technician removal ($199 decommission fee).
- Conditions:
- Equipment must be complete and in good condition.
- Inspection within 5 business days of receipt; refund within 10 business days after inspection.
- Customer bears transit risk until confirmed receipt.
- Property make-good (patching/painting) is the customer's responsibility.

7. Warranty
- Standard: 12-month warranty on equipment and workmanship.
- Extended: 36-month warranty if the paid 18-month maintenance service ($199) is completed.
- Exclusions: Misuse, unauthorised modification, external factors (e.g., flooding, surges), and failure to complete the scheduled maintenance for extended coverage.
8. Proof of Purchase
Please include your Order Confirmation or tax invoice with any return or warranty claim.
