1. Service Overview
Alarmify provides a professionally installed wireless smart alarm system powered by the Alarm.com platform. The system uses secure 4G LTE cellular communication (with optional Wi-Fi back-up), and includes mobile app control, real-time alerts, and optional A1 Grade 24/7 professional monitoring.
Service area: Homes and small businesses within ~50 km of the Adelaide CBD. A travel surcharge may apply outside this radius.
Adequate 4G coverage is required at your installation address. Your technician will confirm during installation.
2. What You Need
- A standard power point near your desired panel location
- Reasonable 4G coverage
- Optional WiFi for dual-path redundancy
- A smartphone with the Alarm.com app (updated with recent iOS/Android versions)
- A person aged 18+ present for installation
3. What's Included
- 7″ HD touchscreen control panel, supplied with a desk-mount kit
- Includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi back-up, in-built siren, and 24-hour battery back-up
- Power supply and warning stickers
- Professional installation by licensed technicians
- On-site setup and training, including assistance with the Alarm.com app
Wall mounting the touchscreen control panel is available as an optional upgrade and is not included in the standard package price.

5. Pricing (inc. GST)
All prices include GST. Weekly amounts are for comparison; billing is monthly. Service fees begin after installation and system activation. An optional 24/7 professional monitoring add-on is available for $4.95/week.

8. Contract, Cancellation & Ownership
Agreement Start
Your agreement begins when you place your order and accept the required checkboxes at checkout, incorporating the Terms & Conditions, CIS, Privacy Policy, Credit Reporting Notice, and Returns, Refund & Warranty Policy.
Term
- Minimum term: 12 months
- Total term: 36 months
- Ownership: Equipment ownership transfers to you at 36 months (all fees paid), or earlier if you exercise the optional buy-out.
Change-of-Mind Cancellation (Before Installation)
You may cancel your order up to 48 hours before installation for a full refund of your upfront payment. See the Returns, Refund & Warranty Policy for details.
30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (After Installation)
If the system isn't right for you within 30 days of installation, you may return it (conditions apply, including equipment return, 12.5% handling fee, and inspection requirements). See the Returns, Refund & Warranty Policy.
Early Termination (During the Contract)
If you end your agreement before 36 months:
- Before month 12: Early termination fee = (12 − months active) × Monthly Service Fee. Equipment must be returned.
- Month 12–36: Choose to return equipment or use the buy-out option. Buy-out = (36 − months completed) × Monthly Service Fee.
- After 36 months: Service continues month-to-month until cancelled.
After Service Cancellation (Post-36 Months or Buy-Out)
The alarm operates as a local system only. You lose:
- App control
- Notifications
- Monitoring
- Remote troubleshooting
- Cloud features & updates
9. Returns Process (Summary)
All returns must follow the RMA process outlined in the Returns, Refund & Warranty Policy, including:
- Requesting an RMA number
- Returning equipment in good condition
- Passing inspection requirements
- Meeting return deadlines
- Customer covering transit risk
Post-removal repairs: Any patching/painting or other make-good work after equipment removal is the customer's responsibility.
10. Warranty
- Standard warranty: 12-month equipment & workmanship
- Extended warranty: 36 months when the 18-month maintenance service is completed
- Exclusions: Misuse, unauthorised modifications, external damage, failure to complete required maintenance

11. Installation
- Typical lead time: ~10 business days from order
- Appointment windows: 8–10am or 12–2pm
- Duration: ~2 hours
- Adult (18+) must be present
- WiFi password required if enabling WiFi backup
- Wall-mounting upgrades may increase installation time
- Technician verifies 4G signal and system communication
- Training provided during handover
12. Ongoing Support & Maintenance
Training & Remote Support
- App training provided at installation
- Remote troubleshooting available
- After the contract term, remote support is billed in 15-minute increments
Maintenance
- Regular testing recommended
- Optional 18-month maintenance visit (required for extended warranty)
- Maintenance service includes: sensor testing, battery checks, signal strength testing, firmware updates, clearing trouble conditions, and onsite training/configuration
13. System Limitations & Notes
- Motion Sensors offer pet immunity up to ~24kg (site-dependent)
- Image Sensors capture still images — not video
- Wireless performance varies by layout and materials
- Detached buildings may require repeaters
- System relies on 4G, with WiFi as optional backup
- No alarm system prevents all incidents or guarantees outcomes
- Customers should test system operation regularly
- Smoke detectors provided are not replacements for legally required 240V smoke alarms
14. Billing & Payment
- All prices include GST
- Service fees billed monthly in advance
- Accepted methods: Direct Debit (GoCardless), Credit/Debit Card (Stripe)
- Card payments incur a 2% fee
- First monthly fee is charged after installation and activation
